Community Poll Results: Two Thirds of Residents Want a Restaurant/Bar in West Craigs
Thank you to everyone who participated in our recent poll. The results are in, and two-thirds of respondents expressed a desire for a restaurant or bar to be located in West Craigs.
Current Dining and Social Options near West Craigs
While there are currently no firm plans for a new restaurant or bar within the West Craigs development, residents do have a nearby option to enjoy:
Turnhouse Golf Club: Located just a short distance from West Craigs, the Turnhouse Golf Club offers a welcoming bar that shows live sports and serves lunch. It’s a great spot to unwind, catch a game, and enjoy a meal with friends.
Exciting Future Developments
The West Craigs development masterplan includes exciting future developments that aim to enhance our community's social and dining options:
Social Bite Cafe: A Social Bite Cafe in the area is part of the original West Craigs Masterplan. Known for its mission to tackle homelessness, Social Bite Cafes offer delicious food and drinks while supporting a worthy cause. This addition will not only provide a new dining option but also contribute positively to our community.
Maybury Quarter Neighbourhood Hub: The planned Maybury Quarter includes a potential neighbourhood hub. While specific details are yet to be confirmed, this hub is expected to include various amenities that could feature dining and social spaces, further enriching our local area.
